Economics is excellent preparation for a career in many fields: business, government and public service, education, journalism, foreign service and consulting. It also provides the strong fundamentals needed to pursue an advanced degree in law, business, public policy or economics.
The Economics Department offers undergraduate programs in the Driehaus College of Business and in the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. Students may major or minor in economics. Find out more about the requirements for each concentration below:
