The department leverages its connections to the business community to guide you toward a thriving career in real estate or finance. The following programs and resources can help you achieve career growth, in addition to the department's year-round events, such as panel discussions, webinars, conferences, networking meet-ups, and more.

Mentoring Program

The department's Mentoring Program matches undergraduate Real Estate majors with experienced real estate professionals. A mentor can help guide your career path and introduce you to potential employers. They also help you think through what skills are necessary for a successful career in real estate.

The program provides a series of meetings during a four- or five-month period, and is offered in two cohorts per academic year.

To find a mentor, contact Steve Bell at (312) 362-5920 or sbell5@depaul.edu.

Internships

Finance majors can gain practical experience and earn academic credit in the class FIN 393 Finance Internship, which has placed students at leading firms including Merrill Lynch, Prudential Securities, Klarian Capital and Blackhawk Realty. Visit go.depaul.edu/bluedemoninternships to apply. After registering, select "FIN 393" and the quarter for which you'd like to enroll in the class. Questions? Contact:
