Biography
Animesh Ghoshal is a Professor of Economics (Emeritus) at DePaul University. He began teaching at DePaul in 1987. Professor Ghoshal has been a visiting professor at Aalto University (Finland), the National University of El Salvador, Universidad Panamericana (Mexico) and Texas A&M International University. He has taught in DePaul's programs in Hong Kong and Bahrain.
Professor Ghoshal's research and teaching interests are in international economics and finance, economic development and applied microeconomics. His work has been published in academic journals such as the International Journal of Emerging Markets, International Trade Journal and Latin American Business Review.
Professor Ghoshal regularly referees for the Academy of International Business, the International Trade Journal and Management International Review. He has served as the Director for DePaul University's European Business Seminar multiple times and has been the recipient of DePaul's Excellence in Teaching award.
