Biography
Fred Weber has been in and around higher education his entire career, serving as the CEO of a 200-member college bookstore cooperative, the senior vice president of wholesale and distribution services for Follett Higher Education Group, and as regional vice president of DeVry, Inc. His management focus has been on strategic planning, team building and organizational behavior, effective corporate communication and leadership.
Prior to his business career, Weber was a professor of philosophy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and the associate director of the National Endowment for the Humanities’ state-based program in Rhode Island.
