Teaching and Research

The Women in Entrepreneurship Institute leverages its connections to the DePaul academic community to develop programs and research that support women entrepreneurs. Through a shared commitment to growing women-owned businesses, our faculty have published scholarly research on barriers that affect women in entrepreneurship.

"Researchers and policy makers across the globe have recognized the importance of women’s businesses for economic growth, innovation and building healthy communities. This is an exciting time to be a part of this research community that studies both the barriers that women entrepreneurs face, as well as the contributions that their businesses make."
