Kellstadt Career Management Center Staff

Jennifer Kopczynski

Jennifer develops new and effective ways for career coaching and delivering career development support to Kellstadt students and alumni. She is responsible for strategic planning, program development and innovation, assessment and annual goal attainment of the career advising area and serves as director of the Kellstadt CMC team. Her passion is to help people maximize their potential by identifying their strengths and interests, and taking control of their career goals.

Jennifer's prior coaching experience was at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Northwestern University. At Chicago Booth, she supported 1,100 full-time MBA students with one-on-one coaching and educational programming to achieve career success by helping students focus their search, strengthen their marketing message, and research and prepare for interviews. Jennifer holds a BS in international studies from UW-Whitewater and a MEd in Counseling with a concentration in college student development from DePaul University.

Rabia Baig
Assistant Director, Employer Relations

Rabia works closely with employers to bring job opportunities to current and alumni students. She enjoys building relationships and thinking strategically on how to build those partnerships that will be most beneficial to employers and students. After completing her undergraduate degree, she pursued a Master of Education degree from University of Illinois at Chicago. Her previous work in higher education led her to a job at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Career Services office, where she worked closely with students in delivering programs and providing assistance in career-related research.

Emily Komendera
Assistant Director, Career Specialist​

Emily enjoys working with Kellstadt students and alumni in one-on-one career counseling appointments. She tailors her coaching strategy by taking each individual’s unique circumstances, values and strengths into account. She provides encouragement as well as tangible next steps to assist those she works with in reaching their goals, and enjoys working with students to identify their strengths and how to effectively articulate them to their target employers. She earned her BA from the University of Michigan in psychology and communications, and her MA in counseling from Oakland University. She previously worked in career services at the University of Michigan and Roosevelt University. ​ 

Kim Cheney
Assistant Director, Career Specialist​

Kim meets with current students and alumni to discuss career options and professional development topics. She enjoys discussing current business trends in the market and how individuals may position themselves to best capitalize on those. Prior to DePaul, Kim has worked with students at Northwestern and Roosevelt. She halds a BS in business marketing and sociology from Westminster, and a master's degree in higher education and policy from Northwestern University.
