Belonging to a DePaul Vincentian Community greatly influences the way our students act and behave. Our Beta Alpha Psi - Beta Gamma chapter realizes the significance of adopting a Vincentian mentality in our endeavors and so we have created initiatives to reflect this. Our chapter has crafted several partnerships with community organizations in the Chicagoland area. Below are a sample of these partnerships.

Junior Achievement (JA) empowers K-12 students with work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills and experiential learning. JA impacts 4 million students in more than 173,000 classrooms. JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace. BAP is involved with JA through participating in JA in a Day events through teaching at a local elementary school for the day.

Children's Memorial Hospital: In the past, our BAP members have visited the Brown Family Life Center to work on arts and crafts with patients residing there. We have worked on everything from self-portraits to bracelets and Halloween crafts, and more. It's always a great experience for our members.

Membership in Beta Alpha Psi includes those persons of good moral character who have achieved scholastic and/or professional excellence in the fields of accounting, finance or information systems, who have been initiated by an existing chapter and who remain in good standing.
