Purpose Pitch Competition

Purpose Pitch Competition

Business with Greater Purpose

Each spring quarter, the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center spotlights purpose-driven business ideas that focus on doing good rather than the bottom line. The Purpose Pitch Competition is a unique pitch session where Chicago startups pitch their greater purpose and how they plan to fulfill that purpose through their business objectives.

Purpose Pitch brings together DePaul student and alumni entrepreneurs who are building businesses with a strong social or environmental purpose. Eight selected finalists (four students and four alumni) pitch their ventures to a panel of judges and compete for a share of $25,000 in prize money

Celebrate Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurship

The competition provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses, connect with the Chicago entrepreneurship community, and demonstrate how their ventures are working to create meaningful impact. Each year, the event welcomes entrepreneurs, students, alumni, community members, and supporters of purpose-driven entrepreneurship to celebrate these innovative ideas and the people behind them.
