What is the Driehaus Summer Business Institute (DSBI)?
The DSBI is a weeklong learning experience where participants engage in hands-on activities and projects that introduce them to the core areas of business. Students get a taste of economics, marketing, finance, management, accounting, & hospitality/sports business as they work in teams to pitch a new business idea!
Who can participate?
The DSBI is open to current high school students who will have sophomore, junior, or senior status in fall 2026. The program is great for young people with a strong interest in business and for those curious and interested in learning more about the various business disciplines (e.g., finance, marketing, accounting).
Students get a head start on their college experience and learn from an actual university instructor who teaches in our award-winning first-year program! High school students get a feel for college life and get a solid foundation of business principles. They also leave with an original business idea and lifelong friends!

Early-Bird Discount: 10%

Program Fee includes: 27.5 hours of instruction, daily lunch & snack, program t-shirt & water bottle, 5 hours of site visits, business certificate via Credly.
Note: classes are capped at 20 students to ensure a positive learning environment. Late registrants will be added to a program waitlist & notified of admission as soon as possible.
