Combined Bachelor's and Master's in Enterprise Risk Management

The Combined Bachelor's/Master's Degree Program allows students to complete any bachelor's degree from DePaul University and a Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in as little as five years.

​DePaul Undergraduate Degree/Enterprise Risk Management (MS)

The Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management degree will provide you with the skills necessary to identify and manage the strategic, operational, cyber and financial risks facing firms today.  Graduates of the program emerge well-equipped for strategic planning roles that require proactive decisions to manage risks and protect the value of the enterprise for stakeholders. 

Admission

This program is available to all DePaul Undergraduates who have met the prerequisites for admission. For admission to the combined program, applicants will need to provide:

  • A completed application submitted to the Finance Department (application fee will be waived),
  • A current resume/curriculum vitae summarizing their work experience and educational background, no more than 2 pages in length, and
  • A personal statement outlining their personal goals in pursuing the MS degree program, no more than 2 pages in length. 

Students must complete FIN 310 and all of its prerequisites with no course grade lower than B- to be considered for admission to the combined degree program.  In addition, it is strongly recommended that students complete FIN 393: FINANCE INTERNSHIP, or provide evidence of equivalent work experience prior to their graduation quarter.  The admissions committee may require applicants to participate in a personal interview.

Upon admission to the program students will take the following three courses while still enrolled as undergraduate students:

Upon successful completion of the undergraduate degree and the three courses above, students complete the Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management by taking 36 additional credit hours, including 24 hours of required courses and 12 hours of elective courses.
