Integrated Marketing Education (IME), the honors sequence in Marketing, gives a select group of undergraduate students a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in marketing management while interacting with a Chicago-area business. If selected, you will join an exclusive cohort of approximately 30 students to participate in the year-long program with three professors dedicated to aiding you through one-on-one career guidance.
Industry Connections
Instead of a series of classes that address a single marketing function, the IME cohort consults with different clients each quarter that address marketing issues in the way that managers are likely to encounter them. You'll leave the program with three diverse consulting projects in your portfolio that span from B2B to international marketing.
Graduates of our IME program have worked at:
- Pepsi
- Motorola
- Frito Lay
- Edleman
- United Airlines
- IBM
- Tesla
- Airbnb
- Nielsen
- IRI
- IPSOS
- Unilever
- Microsoft
IME students are selected on a competitive basis. The evaluation is based on an interview, writing sample and performance in previous marketing and other coursework. Classes are limited in size and offered only once per year. Admission is by application and interview and application deadlines are always May 1.
