Brad Danton is a tax engagement principal at PwC and brings 20 years of public accounting experience to his role as instructor at the School of Accountancy & MIS. Although based in Chicago, Danton serves clients throughout the Midwest relative to multi-state sales, use and excise tax matters.
Since joining PwC, Danton has served clients across all industries and has extensive experience within aerospace, manufacturing, telecommunications, retail and service industries. Some of the projects Danton specializes in include transaction planning, tax liability remediation, product taxability analysis, audit defense and representation of clients in matters of controversy, due diligence, strategies related to procurement and leasing, multi-state refund reviews, indirect tax compliance, as well as indirect tax process improvement.
Danton has published materials related to state and local tax on behalf of the American Bar Association, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Bar Association. He also frequently serves as a speaker at industry events on tax matters. Danton also serves as a member on the Illinois Board of Examiners and the Board of Examiners Finance Committee.
