Crystal Fazal has more than 20 years of experience in effective oral and written communication. As a current Marketing 376/576 instructor at DePaul University, Fazal has spent the past eight years assisting undergraduate and MBA candidates with mastering their communication skills. Through fun and engaging demonstrations, she works with her classes on managing anxiety, speaking with confidence, email formatting, brief writing and delivering well-organized presentations. Due to hard work and dedication to her students, she has received DePaul’s “Woman of Substance” award not only once but twice. She is also a DePaul “Spirit of Action” honor recipient.
Prior to teaching, Fazal gained valuable corporate experience working with two Fortune 100 companies: The Coca-Cola Company and MillerCoors. As a senior level sales and marketing executive, she collaborated with colleagues to strategically plan and execute business goals. She established C-level partnerships with global clients while delivering win-win business solutions. During her time in corporate America, Fazal received numerous prestigious “Best-in-Class” awards for high quality presentations.
Internationally, Fazal has studied consumer marketing at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She also spent time in Turkey, Dubai and Africa studying international business strategies.
