Gerald Aase is an instructor and director of the MS in Business Analytics program at the Driehaus College of Business where he teaches operations management, supply chain management, quality management systems and data analytics. His research specializes in process improvement, order picking and other warehouse management issues encountered by various business partners. His supply chain research has appeared in the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, International Journal of Production Research and European Journal of Operational Research.

Prior to joining DePaul in 2017, Aase held various engineering positions for several manufacturers. Upon completion of his PhD from Indiana University, he has served as a professor with a focus on industry-based student projects working with local business partners. He owns and operates a small local farm and vineyard in Sycamore, Ill.
