John Hildebrand is a clinical professor at the Department of Marketing in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University. Hildebrand's most recent paper, "Building Up and Tearing Down: Identity Construction and Creative Destruction" was published in the International Journal of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. His research focuses on the intersection of play and conception and the roles that both play in the construction, maintenance and defense of consumer identities. He is currently seeking to extend that research into multiple contexts.
