Mopé Adelakun is an instructor at DePaul University, in both the Driehaus College of Business and the College of Computing and Digital Cinema. Adelakun has been teaching at DePaul since 2008 and has 20-plus years of teaching experience among various academic institutions. Prior to joining DePaul, Adelakun worked for Nielsen Corporation. Currently, she is an independent consultant in data analytics. As a consultant, Adelakun has provided data analytics consulting services on-demand to a number of small- and medium-size companies around the Chicagoland area, through a third party consulting company.
Adelakun enjoys conducting both academic and industry research, especially in the marketing area. Her research activity has resulted in a journal publication in the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing in May 2013. Adelakun holds a master’s degree in applied statistics and an MBA, both from DePaul University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in educational leadership. Adelakun has spent some years in Finland where she also studied toward a master's in applied mathematics at Abo Akademi University. She understands and speaks some Finnish and Swedish.
