Daniel Heiser serves as the chair of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship. He is an associate professor in the Driehaus College of Business, DePaul University, where he teaches supply chain management and project management. Heiser previously served as associate dean, leading the college’s global engagement, including oversight of graduate degree-abroad programs in Bahrain, Taiwan and the Czech Republic. Heiser has taught in many countries around the world, including Bahrain, Chile, Czech Republic, China, Finland, Germany, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates. His supply-chain research has appeared in the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and Strategic Outsourcing: An International Journal.

Prior to joining DePaul, he served in Washington, D.C., as legal advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Education and in Indianapolis, Ind., as the clerk of the Indiana Supreme Court. He owns a minority interest in an Indiana-based farming operation.
