Biography
Irena Ziolkowska, an instructor of economics in the Driehaus College of Business, has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. Ziolkowska received her PhD from the University of Lodz in Poland, where she was a senior assistant professor and research analyst.
Ziolkowska teaches courses on the principles of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and money and banking. Her areas of expertise are research and development, technological change, and innovation.
She has been published in numerous magazines and journals.
Ziolkowska received the Polish Academy of Science Award as well as the President's University of Lodz Award. She is a member of the American Economic Association and served as a mentor for the Polish Students Association.
