Luke Chicoine joined DePaul University as an assistant professor of Economics in 2012. His main research interest is in the field of development economics, with a focus on health and human capital in Sub-Saharan Africa. Chicoine is also a research affiliate at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). His work has been published in the Journal of Development Economics, and he is a recipient of DePaul's University Research Council Competitive Research Grant.
Professor Chicoine teaches courses in principles of microeconomics, development economics and introduction to econometrics.
