Mailys Pensivy is an instructor at the School of Hospitality Leadership in the Driehaus College of Business. She has more than a decade of experience in revenue management. Her hospitality experience includes independent and branded properties of various sizes in urban, resort and airport locations, each with its own unique market mix and services. Geographically, she has experience both domestically and abroad, including Paris, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C.
Most recently, Pensivy founded AMC Hospitality, which offers dedicated revenue management support with a focus on independent hotels across the U.S. Certified in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University, Pensivy applies a “360 degree” approach to revenue management and supports hotels through every stage of the asset cycle.
Originally from France, Pensivy moved to the U.S. as part of her college education with the EDHEC Business School and joined the international MBA program in the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University. Pursuant to her studies in L.A. and during the course of eight years, Pensivy had the opportunity to live in Miami, Washington D.C, New York City and now Chicago. Pensivy is a Certified Revenue Management Executive with the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, and serves as a consultant with the Cayuga Hospitality Consultants Network.
