Robert Helle has more than 25 years of experience as a development manager, construction manager and architect, and is currently employed at Woodlane Development as a Principal. An early interest in energy efficient design has informed his developments, including Victory Centre of South Chicago, which is one of the nation’s first LEED-Silver senior housing developments.

Helle currently serves on the boards of Lake County Residential Development Corporation and the Institute for Environmental Education, as well as the Chicago Chapter of the American Institute of Architects-Committee of the Environment, and the Urban Land Institute Enterprise Zone Committee. Past boards have included Illinois Housing Coalition, Affordable Assisted Living Coalition, Carmel Catholic High School and Prairie Crossing Charter School. ​​​​​
