Biography

Sebastien Mary is an instructor in the Department of Economics at the Driehaus College of Business and a lecturer of economics at the University of Kansas. Mary has held positions at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (Spain), IFREMER (France), and the University of Aberdeen (Scotland).

Mary's research is at the intersection of economics, agriculture, and food security and nutrition, and aims to provide evidence-based answers to academic and policy questions through a strong applied and quantitative approach. Mary's research has been published in Food Policy, Food Security, European Review of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Agricultural Economics, and other peer-reviewed journals.
