Biography

Stephen Blackburne is an instructor at the School of Hospitality Leadership in the Driehaus College of Business. He is a hospitality veteran with more than 30 years of experience in operations, feasibility, sales and marketing, revenue management, customer experience and brand creation. He has lived and worked in six countries on three continents and has led global teams for Hyatt. He has a strong background in luxury hospitality, and served as hotel manager at The Savoy in London as well as regional head of the Park Hyatt brand in the Americas. His other work experience includes positions with the international hotel consulting firm PKF and with RockR​esorts.

Blackburne teaches at the Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality at New York University. He is also on the board of directors of a European hotel management company and a member of the advisory board of a leading hotel services company in​ the U.S.
