Biography

Xingzhi Jia is an assistant professor of management at the Driehaus College of Business. He teaches courses in operations management, applied statistics and business analytics and his research areas include behavioral decision-making in operations management, supply chain resilience, and corporate social responsibility.

Jia joined DePaul in 2019 from Texas A&M University, where he received the Dean’s Outstanding Teaching Award by a Doctoral Student two years in a row as well as the Association of Former Students University Distinguished Graduate Student Award. He led workshops in Washington, D.C., and Athens, Greece, on ethics in supply chain management in 2018 and 2019, and is an active member of several academic communities including the Production and Operations Management Society and the Decision Sciences Institute. ​
