The Department of Finance & Real Estate is home to real-world degree programs that prepare students to succeed in rewarding careers. The department houses centers that actively engage students, alumni, public institutions, private firms, scholars and executives-in-residence within Chicago’s vibrant finance and real estate communities.
The department offers graduate and undergraduate courses in banking and corporate finance, behavioral finance, real estate analysis, valuation, finance and investments, institutional asset management, wealth management, financial management and control, managerial finance and more.

Located in the heart of Chicago's financial district, the department positions itself as a bridge between academia and the industry. The department houses five research centers, each pursuing a separate field of financial and real estate research and engagement.

Open to qualifying undergraduate DePaul students, the Keeley Academy fast-tracks you to a fulfilling finance career through rigorous year-round co-curricular programming. The two-year academies in banking & capital markets or investment management offer mentoring, industry engagement and internship/career connections.
