Kellstadt Graduate School of Business Scholarships

We offer various types of financial aid — often made up of scholarships, student loans, or a combination of both. Here, you’ll find information on several business graduate school scholarships that will help you finance your degree.

The Kellstadt Graduate Scholarship is for new students who are U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents. Scholarship amounts vary, based, in part, on your academic profile and program. This is a one-time scholarship that spans the first three quarters of enrollment and cannot be used in conjunction with any other DePaul scholarships, waivers or awards. The Kellstadt Dean's Scholarship is for new students who are NOT U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents. Scholarship amounts vary, based, in part, on your academic profile and program. This is a one-time scholarship that is awarded term-by-term and cannot be used in conjunction with any other DePaul scholarships, waivers or awards. The following private scholarships are available for Kellstadt students:

Todd M. Beamer Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was created in memory of Todd Beamer (BUS ’93), a DePaul graduate who sacrificed his life in an attempt to regain control of United Airlines Flight 93 on Sept. 11, 2001. Fellow DePaul alumnus Nicholas Hahn III (LAS ’11) created the Todd M. Beamer Memorial Scholarship to honor Beamer, a 9/11 hero.

The scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to students enrolled in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business pursuing an MBA with a concentration in marketing.

David E. Drehmer lmpact Scholarship

Dr. David Drehmer was an engaging professor in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship for 40 years. He coached his students to remove barriers through creativity and self-awareness, allowing them to realize their passions, purpose and meaning. He believed success was not about fulfilling expectations, but rather a possibility to fulfill.

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to graduate students in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business who are in good academic standing and have financial need. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate a positive impact on others through leadership, mentoring and/or community service.

Kellstadt Graduate School of Business Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to students enrolled in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business who are in good academic standing and have financial need.

Dr. John N. Nicholson Fellowship

This fellowship is for graduate degree students pursuing an MBA or Master of Science degree at the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Based on merit and character, preferably for individuals of Greek extraction.

Ronald J. Patten Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to students who are enrolled full-time in the MBA program in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. To be eligible, students should demonstrate financial need and be in good academic standing.

Alfred Norbert Sacha Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to students enrolled in the MBA program in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. To be eligible, students should demonstrate financial need and be in good academic standing.

James T. and Mary K. Schaefer Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship endowment provides recognition and financial assistance to graduate students enrolled in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business who are earning an MBA with a concentration in International Business.

C.V. Starr Foundationn Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to international students (country of citizenship or country of residence) enrolled full-time in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Preference will be given to students from developing economies in Latin America, the Middle East or Asia.

Jerry & Marcia Tubergen Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to students enrolled in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business who are in good academic standing and have financial need.

The Double Demon Scholarship is a 25 percent automatic discount for any newly admitted full-time or part-time student who has previously graduated from DePaul (bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree). The discount applies to any GRADUATE coursework students take after their initial degree was conferred.

The Double Demon Scholarship applies to:

  • Degree coursework
  • Certificate coursework
  • Non-degree coursework

Note the scholarship does not include coursework from the Center for Professional Education, Institute for Professional Development, coursework in a doctoral program or a master of fine arts (MFA), Music, Theatre, Law and a few other select programs.

The Double Demon Scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other institutional aid or discount. DePaul employees who are alumni are eligible for other employee tuition benefits through the university and, therefore, are not eligible for the Double Demon Scholarship.
