Biography
Michael Ianni brings more than 23 years of experience in sales, marketing and legal work to DePaul University. In addition to his 15 years of working as an instructor teaching Marketing 276, Mike has held several leadership roles at Nuveen, a TIAA Company. He is currently a vice president, sales development manager within the company's global learning & development group. At DePaul, Mike hopes to help students succeed in the classroom and the workplace.
Mike holds an MBA in Sales Leadership and Entrepreneurship from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, as well as a bachelor's degree in finance and international business from the School of Business at George Washington University, where he served as national president for the German American National Congress. At DePaul, Mike was president of the Kellstadt MBA Association from 2007 through 2008.
Mike was accepted into the Austrian American Educational Commission's U. S. Teaching Assistant Program offered in partnership with the U.S. Fulbright Commission. He spent two years working in Linz, Austria, for two private schools where he taught English as a second language. To further build his German language skills, Ianni achieved the Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch in 2007 through the Goethe Institut – Chicago which is offered by the Federal Republic of Germany's Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
