Biography
Nidhal Bouazizi is an instructor at the Driehaus College of Business in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship. Prior to starting in this role at DePaul, he taught at multiple colleges across the Midwest and held various leadership roles, including chair of graduate programs, director of international programs and interim dean. Bouazizi’s teaching interests include international business, management, supply chain analytics and economics.
Bouazizi obtained his master’s in science from the University of Tunis in his hometown and an MBA from Madonna University in Livonia, Mich. He is currently enrolled in the DBA program at the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Bouazizi’s current research interests include factors that influence the success or collapse of international health supply chains when strained and the influence of chronotype on business decision-making. His previous research explored critical success factors for small businesses in the metro Detroit area during the 2008 economic crisis. Outside of the classroom, Bouazizi enjoys utilizing his fluency in Arabic, French, German and English in working with global partners, including in China, the UAE and Haiti, to create strategic educational partnerships with other universities.
