Biography
Ali Adeli is an assistant professor at the School of Accountancy & MIS at the Driehaus College of Business. His research investigates the impact of emerging digital technologies on human behavior, organizations, and society, with a focus on electronic markets. He draws upon methods from machine learning, agent-based modeling and simulation, econometrics, and behavioral experiments.
He has coauthored papers in leading journals, such as Management Science, and presents his research at major conferences such as INFORMS, annual meeting, AoM annual meeting, Conference on Information Systems & Technology (CIST), WITS, and HICSS.
He is active in the professional community by serving on committees and as ad-hoc reviewer for several journals and conferences including MISQ, ISR, Information & Management, and ICIS. He has taught courses on Data Analytics, Machine Learning applications for Business, Databases & Data Modeling, System Analysis & Design, and Programming.
