Biography

Ali Adeli is an assistant professor at the School of Accountancy & MIS at the Driehaus College of Business. His research investigates the impact of emerging digital technologies on human behavior, organizations, and society, with a focus on electronic markets. He draws upon methods from machine learning, agent-based modeling and simulation, econometrics, and behavioral experiments.

He has coauthored papers in leading journals, such as Management Science​, and presents his research at major conferences such as INFORMS, annual meeting, AoM annual meeting, Conference on Information Systems & Technology (CIST), WITS, and HICSS.

He is active in the professional community by serving on committees and as ad-hoc reviewer for several journals and conferences including MISQ, ISR, Information & Management, and ICIS​. He has taught courses on Data Analytics, Machine Learning applications for Business, Databases & Data Modeling, System Analysis & Design, and Programming.
