Animesh Ghoshal is a Professor of Economics at DePaul University and has worked at the university since 1987. He has been a visiting professor at Aalto University (Finland); the National University of El Salvador, Universidad Panamericana (Mexico); and Texas A&M International University, and taught in DePaul's programs in Hong Kong and Bahrain.
Professor Ghoshal's research and teaching interests are in international economics and finance, economic development and applied microeconomics. His work has been published in academic journals like International Journal of Emerging Markets, International Trade Journal and Latin American Business Review.
Professor Ghoshal regularly referees for the Academy of International Business, the International Trade Journal and Management International Review. He has served as the Director for DePaul University's European Business Seminar multiple times and has been the recipient of DePaul's Excellence in Teaching award.
Professor Ghoshal received both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the London School of Economics. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan. He teaches courses on Global Economy, International Trade, International Monetary Economics and Managerial Economics.
