Biography

Anthony Gagliano is an instructor at the School of Hospitality Leadership in the Driehaus College of Business.  He began his restaurant career over 15 years ago at Tank Sushi where he worked his way up from barback, to carryout, and eventually bartender. From there he took a job as a manager at Ala Carte Entertainment where he quickly became general manager working at their Morettis and Finn McCool’s locations. After gaining invaluable experience there he took a job at Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (LEYE) where he has been for over 12 years, currently serving as director of operations for RPM Seafood, RPM Events, and Pizzeria Portofino.

Anthony’s LEYE career also spanned leadership roles at Wildfire, RPM Italian, RPM Steak, and Lil’ BaBa Reeba. Anthony’s passion for teaching and leading students began his junior year at Eastern Illinois University where he was an resident assistant (RA) and concluded with a teacher’s assistant position his senior year in a University Foundations course. His love for student life led him to a graduate assistant position in housing and dining at Dominican University in River Forest where he graduated with an MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship from the Brennan School of Business. Anthony is very excited to reconnect with college students to teach them what it takes to be a successful business leader in hospitality.
