Brett Baden is an adjunct professor at the Driehaus College of Business. Baden is a director of analytics at Nielsen, where he has performed market analyses of the consumer package goods industry since 2011. At Nielsen, Baden has worked deeply within data science, building tools to measure e-commerce, internet impacts on media ratings, developing analytics solutions for business in developing markets, and developing improvements for data fusion.

Prior to joining Nielsen, Baden worked as senior economist for the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, as a consultant at a boutique environmental economics consulting firm, and as an economics professor in the Tufts University planning department. He has several published papers in applied environmental and urban economics. Baden received a PhD from the University of Chicago in 2001.

Baden teaches courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, business conditions analysis and applied statistics/analytics.
