Biography
Dr. Daniel Clark is director of the Kellstadt Career Management Center and an instructor of economics in the Driehaus College of Business. A cross-functional change agent and behavioral economist, Clark helps organizations and students grow by asking one powerful question: Why do we do the things we do?
Clark also has a strong background in career development, having led career advancement initiatives at the University of Chicago prior to joining DePaul. His work focuses on building systems that unlock human potential and improve communities: efficiently, equitably, and sustainably.
His teaching pedagogy emphasizes the human elements of economics, bridging behavioral science, technology, education, and systems change. Clark brings a balance of industry and academic experience, having worked across retail, loyalty, mobility, sports, and education sectors. His teaching portfolio includes economic game theory, neuroeconomics, global perspectives, economic geography, microeconomics, and macroeconomics.
Clark's academic research led to the founding of Navigating Knowledge, a global educational technology platform that enhances learning efficiency through mapping technology and insights from economics, neuroscience, an d educational psychology.
