Deirdre LaVerdiere is the associate director of the Center for Sales Leadership at DePaul University and an instructor for the Department of Marketing. She is a Double Demon, and obtained bachelor's and master's degrees from DePaul. Her undergraduate degree is in international business and marketing, and her master's degree is in marketing analysis. Prior to joining DePaul, LaVerdiere worked in sales for more than 10 years at Lifetime Television, Bloomberg Television and Tribune Media Services. During her time in sales she gained experience in negotiation, relationship building, presentation skills, branding and critical thinking.
