​Biography

Dev Mukherjee is the former CEO of Evite. He has held several senior executive roles at IBM, Microsoft and other large companies in Europe and the US. He is an expert in digital transformation, using technology to adapt and disrupt organizations, business models, and markets — in particular the rise of communities, user-generated content and influencers on platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube.  

Mukherjee has deep expertise leveraging data and technology and bringing together multiple disciplines to drive innovation and operational improvement. He is co-inventor on a patent for self-service using a mobile device.

He has been featured and quoted in several publications including the Wall Street Journal, and BusinessWeek. Mukherjee co-authored a book on “Know-How: Experience, Expertise, Execution” with Gail Meneley. 

Throughout his career Mukherjee has led a number of M&A activities, served on several boards, and been the keynote speaker at company and industry events. He is a strong proponent of supporting entrepreneurs, women and minorities in early-stage companies and corporate leadership, as well as finding innovative ways for individuals and companies — of all sizes — to grow talent and expertise. 

Dev holds an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School (thesis: Innovation and Corporate Renewal) and a BSc in Computing & Information Systems from Manchester University, UK (research topic: implementing an object oriented system). His interests include education, team building, management and leadership in high-growth/volatile environments, Sous-Vide cooking and building Lego robots with his kids.​
