Biography
Diane Tarkowski is an instructor for the School of Accountancy & MIS at DePaul University. She teaches Introduction to Business Technology and Decision Making courses and participated in the course redesign of MIS 140.
Prior to being an instructor, Tarkowski worked as a senior software specialist where she negotiated software licensing contracts. Her responsibilities included creating installation packages for Macintosh OS and Windows OS and deploying software packages through Microsoft SCCM or JAMF Casper. She also has experience as a faculty software coordinator which involved creating and teaching Podcasting, EndNote and Blackboard courses. Tarkowski was even invited by Apple to present an Apple iTunes Workshop in Indianapolis, Ind., and created DePaul on Demand, DePaul University’s iTunes U site.
