Biography
Ellen Dawson Van is an economics instructor in the Driehaus College of Business. Van also works with current Kellstadt students as an academic and career advisor. Van strives to positively contribute and enhance the educational experience of students.
Van graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and DePaul’s MBA program with a concentration in economics. Van has worked at DePaul as an advisor for more than 20 years. Prior to working at DePaul, Van worked for several years in Chicago advertising agencies.
Van currently teaches principles of microeconomics, economics of education, and Freakonomics.
