Biography
Ivana Zilic's research interests include corporate social responsibility, performance management, and hospitality management.
Zilic teaches courses in management, international business, service operations management, innovation and creativity in business, career management skills, and managing human capital to undergraduate, MBA, and executive students. Her work has been published in the Business and Society Review, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations Journal, International Journal of Manpower, International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics, Journal of Communication Management, Journal of Economics and Business Research, Journal of Economic Literature, Global Business & Economics Anthology, Journal of Theory and Practice of Hotel Industry, among other journals. She is a reviewer of the Management Decision Journal, the International Journal of Business Excellence, the Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Inderscinece journals. Zilic has presented her work at numerous conferences, meetings, and symposiums, including the Academy of Management, Eastern Academy of Management, Society for Business Ethics, AAA Annual Meeting, and other scientific and professional organizations.
Zilic completed the Executive Program at MIT, Sloan School of Management, Unlocking Your Leadership Signature. Zilic received DePaul QM Star Award for Excellence in Online Course Design from DePaul.
Prior to joining DePaul's business faculty, Zilic taught management and hospitality for 12 years at the University of Applied Sciences, where she received an Award of Excellence for her exceptional contribution and served as associate dean of business. During her time in the EU, Zilic worked on implementing the CSR model and on entrepreneurship education projects sponsored by the European Union.
