Biography
Jennifer Mayo is an assistant professor in the department of economics at DePaul University. Mayo's research focuses on issues in public economics, with a particular interest in the nonprofit sector and government support programs.
Mayo has collaborated with the website Charity Navigator on several projects examining the impact of information in the nonprofit sector. Her research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Political Economy: Microeconomics and the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization.
Mayo has taught classes on public economics, research methods and microeconomics. She is also currently a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
