Jennifer Tatara is an assistant professor of marketing in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University. She completed her doctorate in marketing at the University of Memphis and received her bachelor of science in management at the University of Tampa. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she worked in Miami as an associate broker at Aon Risk Solutions, the leading global provider of risk management.

During her doctoral studies, Tatara was the lab manager for the Customer Neuro-Insights Research Lab at the University of Memphis. She has conducted research using biometric hardware and software such as eye-tracking, electroencephalogram (EEG), galvanic skin response (GSR) and heart rate sensors. Tatara’s research interests include consumer-based strategy, crisis management and consumer neuroscience.

She has been published in the Journal of Business Research and the Marketing Education Review’s Teaching Moments. She has presented at numerous conferences including the American Marketing Association, Society for Marketing Advances and Global Sales Science Institute. Her passion for academia paired with her interest in consumer-based strategy motivates her to explore and contribute to the field of marketing.
