Biography

Joe Almodovar has more than 30 years of experience in the human resources and finance industries as a practitioner and consultant. He has led global implementations of human resources, payroll and finance systems such as Oracle/PeopleSoft, Taleo, Automatic Data Processing (ADP), PeopleFluent, SAP Succesfactors and SAP HANA. Almodovar previously worked at Kraft Foods, Sears, Unisys and Kearney, serving as a leader and member of implementation teams.

As a consultant, Almodovar has provided consulting services to firms such as General Motors and Kellogg's. In addition to industry research, Almodovar has presented at various national conferences and webinars on a variety of topics, including human capital systems; global payroll selection and implementation; recruiting system selection and implementations; custom system design; and learning management systems. He also has presented and published on the topic of SaaS platforms. Almodovar received certifications in compensation and HR, and retired from military service having served in various command and staff functions: logistics, finance, FEMA liaison, communications and Inspector General.

Almodovar holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago. He is currently a part-time faculty member at DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business where he teaches project management. He is a former adjunct faculty at DeVry University and Robert Morris University, where he taught Operations Management, Business Math, Strategy, and Introduction to Computers.
