Biography

Joe Livigni is an instructor at DePaul University, teaching strategic management to undergrad and MBA students, since 2017.

​H​e's ​vice president of education development at AAPL where he oversees all educational content, manages faculty, and is responsible for accreditation.

​Joe was most recently the head of learning and development for UGN, an automotive manufacturer, where he was responsible for setting the L&D strategy to align to the business strategy. He also oversaw UGN University.

Prior to his recent experience at UGN, he spent five years as the director of training and development at Capsim, where he oversaw the Corporate Learning Team. During this time, he partnered with hundreds of organizations in industry and academia and focused on designing and facilitating learning programs in leadership development, business acumen, strategy, team building, project management, sales enablement, and finance.

Joe has also spent 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry working in sales, management, and training at Actelion, Wyeth, and Pan American Labs.

He has a masters in training and development from the University of St Francis and a masters in management, strategy and leadership from Michigan State University. Joe is a certified facilitator of MBTI, Hogan, and DDI.
