Joseph Rizzi currently teaches a graduate level corporate finance course at the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. His research focuses on banking, risk management, strategy and applied corporate finance. Previous teaching experience includes the Amsterdam Institute of Finance, Loyola University of Chicago and the University of Notre Dame.
Rizzi is also a frequent lecturer to professional and academic groups. Previously, he served as senior investment strategist at CAPGEN, a New York based private equity firm focusing on banking opportunities. Prior to that, Rizzi worked for several years at ABN AMRO Group, both in the U.S. and Holland in the areas of structured finance, acquisition finance, corporate development and asset-liability management.
Rizzi is the author of numerous publications on lending, risk management and financial accounting. He received his undergraduate degree in finance from DePaul University and graduated summa cum laude. Rizzi earned his MBA from the University of Chicago and a law degree, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
