Biography
Krystin Simoy is an instructor in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship at the Driehaus College of Business. She is a Double Demon who teaches Management 307: Human Resources Management. Throughout her career, Simoy has worked in the security technology, management consulting and marketing-technology verticals, where she gained a multitude of experience within various human resource functions such as talent acquisition, campus recruitment, compensation and benefits.
In her current role, Simoy actively implements diversity, equity and inclusion in hiring best practices. In 2013, Simoy graduated with a bachelor's degree in English literature and received her Master of Science in Human Resources from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business while working full-time in talent acquisition for a leading technology company. During her graduate career, Simoy was president of DePaul’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) which was awarded the Chapter Merit Award in 2022 for the second year in a row.
