Biography
Marc Jacobs currently serves as an Executive in Residence at DePaul's School of Hospitality Leadership. He has held a successful restaurant and hospitality career with Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises since 1991. Throughout his career with Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Jacobs has opened various restaurants within the company including Ema, Beatrix, Antico Posto, Di Pescara, Foodease, Foodlife, Mity Nice Bar & Grill and L. Woods. He currently holds the title as President and Executive Partner of Antico Posto, Beatrix, Beatrix Market, Ēma, Rotisserie Ēma, Foodease, Foodlife, L. Woods and Mity Nice Bar & Grill.
As a 1995 alumnus of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Jacobs brings a wealth of hospitality and restaurant knowledge and experience to DePaul’s School of Hospitality Leadership through his engagement and mentorship of students seeking careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry. He also assists faculty in their hospitality courses and research initiatives to expand the breadth of knowledge within hospitality higher education and the restaurant industry.
