Biography

Margaret Oppenheimer is a Vincent de Paul Professor of Economics (Emeritus) at DePaul University. Dr. Oppenheimer came to DePaul in 1976. She was promoted to associate professor with tenure in 1979 and to professor in 1998. She served as president of Faculty Council from 1992-1995 and as chair of the economics department from 1995-2001.

Her interests are in labor economics, economics and law, economics and ethics, and gender economics.
