Biography
Mike Ozmeral just completed a 36 year corporate career in Operations Management, Supply Chain and Procurement spanning both industry and consulting roles. His areas of expertise and interest include strategic sourcing, negotiations, supply chain risk management, warehousing and commercial fleet operations and supply chain automation.
In his most recent role, Ozmeral was chief procurement officer for Reyes Holdings, L.L.C., a large, privately held global food and beverage production and distribution company. Prior to that, he held senior level procurement positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Fort James Corporation. Earlier in his career, Ozmeral held several operations planning and management positions with United Airlines and the Burlington Northern Railroad, followed by a management consulting role with A.T. Kearney in their Transportation Practice.
He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Ozmeral will be teaching MGT 507-Global Sourcing and Procurement in the Winter 2024 Quarter.
