Biography

​​​Nitin Bhojraj, DBA, CPA, CFE has taught at DePaul University since Spring 2020. He previously taught at Loyola University Chicago and for the Becker CPA Review.  He works full time within the federal government.  Bhojraj regularly presents on various accounting topics to professional organizations and has done so to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Government Accountants, American Accounting Association, International Society of Caricature Artists, and state CPA societies. 


In addition to accounting, Bhojraj is a regularly published cartoonist.  He is the creator, writer, and illustrator of “Incremental Maturity," an accounting-based cartoon that has been printed in 11 different accounting publications reaching approximately 140,000 accounting professionals.  Bhojraj is also a caricaturist.  He competes annually in the “World's Fastest Caricaturist" competition.  He has never won, but there's always next year.

Bhojraj is passionate about personal finance education.  In addition to his teaching work at the Driehaus College of Business, he teaches for DePaul’s Rising Sophomore Success Program (RSSP).  In the RSSP, Bhojraj instructs incoming sophomores on topics like managing student loans, investments, budgets, credit cards, and avoiding scams.  He also gives talks on personal finance to investment clubs in local high schools.  If your DePaul student group would like a guest speaker to discuss financial issues relevant to students, contact Dr. Bhojraj. ​
