Steve Koernig currently serves as chair of the Department of Marketing at DePaul University. Before taking over as chair, Koernig served as the associate dean overseeing course and program development of the college’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
In addition to his administrative duties, he also teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level, including courses on Social Media Marketing, Strategic Marketing and Consumer Behavior. Koernig's academic research focuses on social media marketing, services marketing and marketing education. His research has been published in leading academic journals including the Journal of Advertising, Psychology & Marketing, and the Journal of Marketing Education.
