Biography

Yvette Lopez’s research interests include workplace violence, workplace deviance, workplace bullying, business ethics, psychological contracts, and leadership behavior. She teaches courses at the undergraduate and master’s levels on management, human resources, organizational behavior and leadership. Her work has been published in the Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, among other journals. She has presented her findings at numerous conferences hosted by the Academy of Management, American Psychological Association, Babson College and other organizations. 

Lopez was awarded the DePaul University Quality of Instruction Council Excellence in Teaching Award for the college of business in 2015. Lopez also served as the faculty advisor for the DePaul University Chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society from 2008-2012. In 2010, she was awarded the Regional Advisor of the Year award for Region 5.
